Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 S.I. No. 299 an employer must ensure that any work equipment provided for use by employees at a place of work complies, as appropriate, with the provisions of any relevant legislation relating to work equipment with respect to safety and health. Depending on the type of equipment and the environment the equipment is located a thorough examination must take place against the item every 6 months or 12 months.

At Site Safety we the largest team of service engineers in Ireland who travel nationwide carrying out thorough examinations, repair, overhaul and testing of lifting, material handling and height safety equipment. Our team of highly qualified, insured and and competent engineers ensure that all inspections are carried out in line with the relevant legislation and standards.

All inspections are planned and scheduled through our on-line asset management system which allows inspection schedules to be created daily weekly, monthly, or yearly. All inspections are managed by experienced contract planners and coordinators, ensuring that we keep over 1,180 clients in compliance. All of our engineers are equipped with mobile tablets to ensure a quick turnaround of reports and certification. Site Safety are also able to consult with the client following the thorough examination to ensure that all repairs are followed up on, missing and damaged equipment can be replaced, and to ensure a completely managed service is maintained at all times meaning that the customer spends less time managing their

Thorough examinations and reports of inspection are carried out 6 monthly, 12 monthly & 4 yearly depending on the appliance/accessories being used. Every asset we carry out thorough examination on we upload and individual examination report for that asset onto our on-line cert system which can be access 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We also have the facility to RFID tag equipment we inspect when that asset is scanned by Site Safety Engineer or by our client the full information on that asset is available immediately.
